We’re Clovis & Theeda
Partners in life, and in arts.
We've been together since 2013.
Somewhere along the way, travelling, eating, watching films, getting lost on road trips and taking far too many photographs became our everyday life.
Then, almost without noticing, it became our work too.
Today, we're based in France and travel across Europe documenting weddings and elopements, while still doing many of the things that brought us here in the first place: discovering places we've never been, finding good food, chasing beautiful light, and planning the next trip before we've even unpacked from the last one.
We love mountains, coastlines, quiet roads and places that make you stop for a moment.
We're not particularly interested in ticking off every famous spot on a map. We'd rather find the little restaurant down the street, take the longer road, or turn around because the light suddenly got good.
And yes, we usually have another trip in the back of our minds.
YEARS OF KNOWING EACH OTHER
After more than a decade together, we don't need to talk much while we're working.
A look is usually enough.
We know when the other has found something worth following. We know when to move closer, when to stay back, and when to leave a moment completely alone.
Sometimes we're working on opposite sides of the room.
Sometimes one of us notices something and the other is already there.
That's one of our favourite things about working together: we don't have to constantly coordinate.

WHY SEIJI & MORI?
We get asked about our name quite often.
Seiji is Clovis' official middle name, given to him by his father, who has been teaching Aikido for many years and has always had a strong connection with Japan.
Mori comes from the same kanji as Theeda's informal Chinese name, Sen, meaning forest. It comes from her Teochew Chinese family on her father's side.
Two names, two family stories, and a little piece of Japan and Thailand that came with us into what we do today.
MEET CLOVIS
SEIJI
Born in France and raised in Indonesia, travel naturally shaped the way I observe people and places.
I've always been drawn to stories, and movies have been a big part of that. I love the way a film can create a feeling through light, movement, sound and a single well-timed shot.
I can also watch the same movie twice (sometimes more !) just to notice how a scene was lit or why a particular shot works.
That probably explains quite a lot about the way I film weddings.
I've always felt equally drawn to the sea. I'm a scuba diver, and for years I spent as much time underwater as I could. That passion naturally led me into underwater photography, alongside travel and drone photography.
I loved the freedom of being somewhere completely different, looking at familiar things from a completely different perspective.
Over time, I realised that the stories I connected with most weren't only about the places I visited.
They were about the people within them.
Today, I bring that same curiosity and cinematic eye to weddings and elopements. I like films that feel immersive and honest — something that brings you back to the atmosphere of the day rather than simply showing you what happened.
Whether it's the quiet stillness of a mountain at sunrise or the endless horizon of the ocean, I'm always drawn to places that make people stop and take it all in.
MEET THEEDA
MORI
I grew up in Thailand, where making people feel welcome is simply part of everyday life.
I love food — trying new cuisines, discovering new ingredients and experiencing flavours I've never tasted before.
Growing up with Thai food probably made me particularly curious about flavour. Thai and French cuisine may seem very different at first, but both cultures care deeply about ingredients, balance, texture and the pleasure of sitting down to eat.
And maybe that's why food has always been such an important part of how I experience a place.
Give me a new destination and I'll probably want to know what we're going to eat there.
I've also always been the planner.
The one making lists, finding solutions, organising trips, checking the details and quietly making sure everyone is having a good time.
It might sound simple, but seeing people genuinely happy has always brought me the most joy.
Photography became an extension of that way of being.
I love noticing the little things most people miss: the way your hands naturally find each other, a nervous laugh before the ceremony, a quick glance across the room, or the quiet moments that happen between all the big ones.
For me, photography isn't just about making beautiful images.
It's about paying attention.
THE OTHER HALF OF OUR LIFE
Clovis:
Will happily spend hours underwater.
Theeda:
Will happily spend hours planning where we're going afterwards.
Clovis:
Chooses the movie.
Theeda:
Probably already has a restaurant in mind.
Both:
Prefer a quiet road to a crowded attraction.
Both:
Will stop for good food.
Both:
Will take the scenic route if there's a chance of finding somewhere interesting.
Usually Theeda:
Knows where the passport is.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
Whether we're spending hours with you at an intimate wedding or several days together for an elopement, we're there to experience it with you — not just document it from the sidelines.
For an elopement, that might mean hiking somewhere together, sitting down for lunch or a picnic after the ceremony, driving to the next location, waiting for the light to change, or simply spending a quiet evening somewhere beautiful.
We're probably quieter than you expect.
We won't be the loud photographers trying to take over the room or turn every moment into a photoshoot.
We'll give you direction when you need it, but we're equally comfortable stepping back and letting you have the moment to yourselves.
If it's just the two of you, we'll probably end up feeling more like the friends who happen to have cameras with them than two vendors following you around.
And if plans shift due to weather or other unexpected moments, Theeda is usually already thinking through gentle solutions while Clovis quietly captures the scene as it unfolds, and together we go with the flow to keep everything feeling natural and true to you.
We're there, we're paying attention, and we're ready to help when needed.
But the day is still yours.
A FEW THINGS WE LOVE
We love travelling without a strict plan.
We love finding places that aren't packed with people.
We love road trips where the journey becomes part of the destination.
We love good food and will happily build part of a trip around a restaurant.
We love the sea — especially when there's a chance to dive.
We love movies, especially the ones that stay in your head long after the credits.
We love beautiful light.
And we love discovering somewhere new together.
SO, THAT'S US.
We're two people who somehow turned our favourite things — travelling, eating, watching films, exploring new places and making photographs — into a life together.
We still get excited about finding somewhere we've never been.
We still argue about where to eat.
We still stop when the light is good.
We still take the long way if it looks more interesting.
And after all these years, we still like working together.
That's probably the most important part.
